The Profession of a Lawyer

Their main tasks include researching legal issues, drafting documents, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court. To become a lawyer, one usually needs a university degree in law and must pass a special exam. Patience, analytical skills, and strong ethics are essential qualities for success in this profession.

Reporter: Any advice for law students?
Michael: Read widely, never stop asking questions, and build strong networks. Integrity is everything—once it’s lost, it’s hard to regain.
